Stars for a New Day BOM

We've started a great block of the month at Inspirations. It's the Stars for a New Day quilt by Sue Garman. Here is a picture of my months 1 & 2.

Here is Sandi's feathered star.

 

I'll keep posting pictures as the stars come in to the shop. Everyone is using wonderful fabric combinations. Each star is so beautiful. 

Receiving Blanket Mitered Corners

Mark a dot 4" from the corner fold on each side.

 

Place your ruler along the fold at the dot. 

Draw a  light line on the right edge.

 Sew on the line and trim.
