Lasagna Toss

We had a great time hosting all the wonderful quilters on the Quilt Blossom Special Shop Hop. Several of you asked for the Lasagna Toss recipe that we served Saturday night. It's very easy which is one of the reasons we love it so much!

Brown 1/2 pound sausage and 1/2 pound ground beef with 1/2 cup onions. Drain and add 16 oz. jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce and a dash of garlic salt.
Prepare 8 oz. of rotini pasta and add to meat mixture.
Put half of the mixture in a 2 quart baking dish or pan. Cover with 2 cups of cottage cheese and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Add remaining meat mixture and top with 1 cup mozzarella cheese.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
